Insight Analyst

My client, one of the leading online gaming providers, is looking for a talented Insight Analyst to join their Gibraltar based office.

As part of a new, fast-growing Real-Time Marketing team, this will be a highly influential role with the opportunity to have significant business impact. This role is responsible for extracting and analysing large data sets, from multiple sources, to surface regular customer insights with a view to improve KPIs and reduce customer friction points across the customer life cycle. The insight will identify opportunities for optimisation, which will feed into business ideation and value driven prioritisation. Working with the Customer Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying growth and optimisation opportunities, feeding these into business cases, conducting prioritisation, and later analysing and reporting on the ROI of these tests and continued uplift from rolled out winning variants.

Build out and maintain the reporting framework for customer behaviour analysis of key conversion funnels, and customer life cycle journeys.
Surface actionable insights to enable strategic decision making across key conversion areas for acquisition, retention and re-activation using real-time marketing and personalisation capabilities.
Identify the key friction points in the customer journey and draw out actionable insight to remedy these journeys with value-based recommendations.
Query and analyse large volumes of data to draw out actionable insights and recommendations for growth, conversion and personalisation.
Deliver weekly business-friendly behavioural insights and comprehensive monthly insight packs to the business, drawing on multiple data sources (qualitive and quantitative) to surface clear and actionable recommendations.
Work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to feed insight and analytics outputs into an aligned prioritisation process, feeding into the Real Time Marketing and Optimisation roadmap.
Supporting the Customer Experience Specialist throughout the end-to-end testing process from surfacing the recommendations, driving the ideation, value-led prioritisation, build of project briefs, through to post-deployment KPI monitoring and post-experience retrospective ROI analysis and reporting.
Identifying areas for real time omnichannel orchestration, with personalised targeting, and programmatic messaging.
Support the build of our AI and ML automated models, monitor and refine the models, as well as analyse the results and learnings.
Building out and maintain a governance framework and escalation process for our behavioural analytics systems, reconciling data daily, identifying and escalating any gaps in tracking/reporting to the relevant teams.
Be an expert in analytical tools and technology to facilitate a world-class customer experience; identify and recommend improvements to our integrations that will enable more data to be used to support sophisticated journeys and customer experiences.
Owning the communications of insights, recommendations, gathering input of ideas/feedback from stakeholders to feed into the roadmap.

What we are looking for…

Passionate about customer behaviour, optimising online experiences and an interest in facilitating valuable relationships with customers across all conversion touch points.
Skilled and confident user of Google Analytics (or similar), Hotjar (or similar), AB testing tools, SQL and/or Big Query.
Highly Analytical with a high commercial awareness.
Confident in defining the right business questions to form the structure of your analysis and presenting the insight in a way that appeals to a broad audience.
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders and lead meetings/calls.
Organised, pro-active and enthusiastic.
Collaborative and transparent working mentality.
Comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
Experience in drawing insights for AB testing, ideation and prioritisation, as well as interpreting test results.

It's awesome, but not mandatory, if you also have:

Degree level qualification in at least one of the following areas: Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences, Economics or similar.
Previous gaming sector experience.
Years of insight analytics experience.
Tableau experience a bonus.
