Consulting Project Manager - Hospitality (6m FTC)

My client is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Consulting Project Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role is based on-site and involves actively driving, coordinating, and delivering strategic and operational projects within their live 4-star hotel environment. They are looking for someone with a practical, sleeves-rolled-up approach who can work closely with their hotel team to ensure projects are executed efficiently, with minimal disruption to guests and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Actively manage and drive day-to-day project activities, coordinating contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Work alongside department heads and operational teams (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance) to implement changes, support testing, training, and project transition into live operations.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison between hotel management and suppliers, chairing regular meetings and ensuring quality, compliance, and health & safety standards.
- Plan and execute all project activity with a strong focus on guest experience, proactively managing noise, access, and service impacts.
- Monitor project budgets, validate invoices, track expenditures, and support cost control initiatives.
- Conduct on-site quality checks, manage snagging, and lead handover of completed projects with clear documentation and training.
- Deliver final project reviews, lessons learned, and recommendations.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience working in live, guest-facing environments.
- Hands-on project management experience within hotels or hospitality settings, with a strong understanding of 4-star hotel standards and guest expectations.
- Track record of managing contractors, suppliers, and internal teams on-site.
- Project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
- Highly practical, solution-focused, and adaptable.
- Strong decision-making and communication skills, comfortable in both operational and senior
stakeholder settings.
