Accounts Payable Assistant

My client, an established and rapidly growing commercial development company with their H/O in Gibraltar is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their Team here. As the Accounts Payable Assistant you will responsible for supporting the accounts payable function by processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring suppliers are paid on time.

An immediate start if required is available for the successful candidate.

What You Will Be Doing

• Process and input supplier invoices accurately into the accounting system
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare payment runs in line with company procedures
• Respond to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting
• Support the wider finance team with administrative tasks

What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role

• Basic Understanding of accounting or finance principles
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independent and as part of a team
• Working towards AAT or interested in studying
• Previous administrative or finance experience is an advantage by not essential
