Junior Technical Business Analyst

My client is seeking a Junior Technical Business Analyst to join their growing organisation. The Junior Technical Business Analyst will act as the bridge between banking business needs and IT technical implementations, focusing on gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, and assisting in the configuration of core banking modules (e.g. Temenos T24). They will support senior analysts in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within private banking environments.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Engaging with stakeholders to capture business needs and translating them into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) or Business requirements documents (BRDs).
• T24 Configuration & Analysis: Analysing existing T24 processes (versions, workflows) and supporting the setup of modules such as Arrangement Architecture (AA), Payments, or Treasury.
• Gap-Fit Analysis: Identifying discrepancies between standard T24 functionalities and business requirements, proposing workarounds, and designing solutions.
• Testing Support: Provide support during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases by preparing test data, developing comprehensive test plans, and validating business scenarios to ensure system functionality and requirements alignment.
• System Support & Operations: Providing day-to-day functional support for T24 users, aiding in troubleshooting, and handling change requests.

Required Skills and Experience

• T24/Temenos Knowledge: Basic to intermediate knowledge of banking Core modules (e.g., Accounts, Loans, Securities, TPH) (desirable).
• Banking Domain: Solid understanding of core banking processes, payments, or wealth management.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with T24 Browser, SQL for data analysis, and ideally some understanding of Info Basic or TAFJ (desirable).
• Analysis Tools: Experience with mapping processes and creating documentation, such as Jira or Visio.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills for acting as a liaison between business and IT teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a business analyst role or within a banking IT environment (desirable).
