Skilled Construction Labourers

My client, a property developer based in Gibraltar is currently looking for skilled Construction Labourers. They are looking specifically for applicants with proven practical skills and previous experience within the construction industry. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in one or more relevant trades or specialist areas.

Applicants with experience in general building works, plumbing, waterproofing, cladding, refurbishment, fitting and associated construction trades are particularly sort after.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general building, construction and refurbishment works across company projects and properties.
Undertake skilled tasks appropriate to individual experience and trade knowledge.
Assist with plumbing, cladding, fitting, repair and general building works where suitably experienced.
Work effectively alongside other trades, contractors and site personnel.
Use tools and equipment safely and correctly.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Complete work to the standards required by the company and site management.
Follow all relevant site procedures and health and safety requirements.

Skills & Experience

Proven previous experience within construction, building or a recognised trade is essential.
Demonstrable practical skills in one or more areas such as general building, plumbing, cladding, waterproofing, fitting, refurbishment or associated trades.
Good working knowledge of construction tools, materials and site practices.
Ability to carry out work independently where appropriate.
Reliable, practical and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to workmanship and finishing standards.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
Relevant trade qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.
