Assistant Merchandiser/Buyer (Retail)
My client, a leading retailer in Gibraltar is looking for someone with fashion retail Buying/Merchandising experience and strong analytical skills. The role is to support the Head of Merchandising to maximise the company’s sales opportunities, ensuring that they offer commercial and successful ranges which support the company growth whilst minimising risks.
The role is responsible for the smooth-running day to day of merchandising departments within Ladieswear, Menswear, Home and Kidswear, forecasting sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets for the departments.
This role will be responsible for line managing one of our Merchandising Administration Assistants, so previous management experience is desired.
To be invited to interview you must have a good head for numbers, highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel and be extremely accurate in your work along with excellent attention to detail.
You will need to possess strong organisation & prioritisation skills, be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be confident communicating across all levels of the business.
