ERP Software Consultant (Graduate/Entry Level)

My client is is expanding and is on the lookout for a Graduate or Entry Level ERP Consultant to join their close-knit and dynamic team. As a key member of the consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT technical solutions that address business challenges.

What You'll Be Doing Once Trained
• Helping businesses streamline operations through smart, tailored solutions
• Assisting in requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, training, and support using collaborative tools
• Becoming a trusted advisor for our clients as they grow and evolve
• Working alongside experienced consultants and learning the ropes of ERP project delivery
• Very occasional overseas travel may be required (UK mainly)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Design, configure, and implement ERP solutions tailored to business needs
• Provide subject matter expertise on ERP best practices and system capabilities
• Lead or support ERP implementation projects, including data migration, system integration, and user training
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide support to end-users post-implementation
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications and user guides
• Liaise with software vendors and third-party providers as needed
• Stay informed about ERP technology trends and emerging solutions

Ideal Candidate
• A recent graduate (or soon to be!) with a degree in Business, Accounting, IT, or a related field or an entry level person who fits the profile below
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn about finance systems, ERP software, and how businesses tick
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Resourceful and able to use initiative, to "think on your feet"
• Highly numerate, attention to detail and analytical and a desire to learn new concepts
• Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile to meet critical deadlines for the client
• Excellent communication / presentation skills - verbal and written
• Credibility in engaging and managing key stakeholders
• Creative and effective problem-solver - able to suggest new ideas and innovative solutions
• Positive, engaging, warm demeanour, with a proactive, can do, solution-seeking attitude
• Smart, professional behaviours and well presented at all times for a client facing role
