Head of Regulatory Reporting, Treasury & Controls

Role Overview
The Head of Regulatory Reporting, Treasury & Controls is responsible for ensuring the Group meets
all its prudential, regulatory and financial control obligations. The role combines regulatory reporting,
treasury management and ownership of key financial controls, providing strong governance and regulatory
credibility at both a local level and across the Group.

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Prudential Reporting
• Production, review & submission of regulatory & prudential returns relevant to the firm’s permissions (primarily under Solvency II).
• Monitoring of own funds and minimum capital requirements ensuring adequate buffers are maintained at all times.
• Production of the Group’s Solvency and Financial Condition Report (SFCR).
• Primary Finance contact for regulatory reporting, working with Risk, Compliance and Actuarial teams as required.
• Supporting solvency monitoring, capital analysis, ORSA inputs and stress testing from a financial perspective.
• Respond to general regulatory queries, thematic reviews and other ad-hoc data requests.

Treasury, Liquidity & Cash Management
• Oversight of the Group’s treasury activities and liquidity management.
• Cash flow forecasting and monitoring across legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Management of banking relationships, payment providers and counterparty exposures.
• Own the capital allocation policy & support decisions on surplus cash deployment into deposits and low-risk adequate investments.

Financial Controls & Governance
• Ownership and maintenance of the Group’s financial control framework and its regulated business.
• Oversight of reconciliations, regulatory data integrity and segregation of duties.
• Establishing and monitoring Key Risk Indicators.
• Key Finance contributor to internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Identification and remediation of control weaknesses.

Financial Reporting Support
• Preparation of monthly Regulatory and Liquidity dashboards.
• Support month-end close with focus on balance sheet integrity and capital adequacy.
• Review entries impacting capital, liquidity and regulatory metrics.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory disclosures.
• Support and provide input into budgeting and forecasting processes.

Stakeholder & Regulatory Interaction
• Liaison with senior management, Board and Committees on prudential matters.
• Support interactions with the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and other regulators as necessary.
• Provide high-quality management information and governance reporting.

Person Specification
Essential Experience & Skills
• Experience in a regulated financial services environment, preferably insurance-based.
• Hands-on regulatory and prudential reporting experience.
• Treasury, liquidity or cash management exposure.
• Strong financial controls and governance background.
• Ability to operate in a matrix type finance team.

Desirable Experience
• Exposure to Solvency II or Solvency-aligned regimes.
• Experience dealing with GFSC, PRA or FCA.
• Multi-entity or cross-border group experience.

Qualifications
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent professional experience.
• Treasury or risk qualifications beneficial but not required.
